ANTOINE THE FORTUNATE by Turkish director Nefin Dinc won the award for Best History Pitch at Sunny Side of the Doc. 

A Greek-French-German coproduction by Anemon, Les films du balibari and Epo-film, developed with the support of Creative Europe, the film tells the story of a French-Hungarian family in the Ottoman Empire, through hundreds of never before seen home movies, photographs and letters, dating from the early 20th century to the 1970’s. Through "Antoine the Fortunate", we witness the most turbulent of the Ottoman Empire and the creation of modern Turkey.
