The second feature documentary by award-winning Evangelia Kranioti, unfolds in Rio de Janeiro, the go-to city for anyone wanting to transform into a new version of themselves. The spellbinding film essay follows the famous Brazilian transgender activist Luana Muniz (1961-2017) to explore different quests for the self in the nightclubs of the queer scene, the vivid carnival parades and the raging protests.
Recipient of the Teddy Jury Award at the Berlinale 2018 and of the Youth Jury Award at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
