Anemon is an independent company, dedicated to producing high-end documentaries and television programmes for the international market.

The company was founded in 2003, bringing together the expertise of five Greek filmmakers and producers.

Located in the centre of Athens, ANEMON produces documentaries, exhibitions, multi-media works and educational programmes and offers production and post-production facilities as well as film archive research expertise.

Our latest work includes co-productions with ARTE, ZDF, YLE, HISTORY TV, AVRO, TSR, TV3, AL JAZEERA, ERT, SKAI TV, the GREEK FILM CENTRE, film sales to BBC-2, SBS, VRT, DOCUMENTARY CHANNEL NEW ZEALAND, TELE-QUEBEC, SCHWEIZER FERNSEHEN, LICHTPUNT, FOX Italy, SVT, YES DBS Israel, BHRT, ETV, CYBC and collaborations with the CULTURE 2000 Programme of the E.U., the European Commission, the University of Cambridge, the National Archaeological Museum of Portugal, the Cyprus Ministry of Communication and the Greek Ministry of Culture.

In 2008, Anemon became a member company of the European training initiative 'Documentary Campus'.
